On The Road With "Olivia"

Adventures on a Folding Bike

Spring has Sprung!

Today is the first day of spring up here in the northern hemisphere and we are enjoying the milder weather for now. Today started out at 38 (f) and got up to about 60 (f). The sun was peaking out from behind a few clouds and the wind was about 5-10 mph. So not a bad day at all.

Spring time in the mountains. There’s still plenty of snow all around, but the warmer temperature is allowing all the snow we’ve had to start melting. You can barely see the water in the creek  on the left side of the photo. But more snow is on the way!

Today is nice. But the weather is about to change. We are expecting rain starting tomorrow morning which will turn to snow  tonight up in the Sierras. After the temperatures drop, we are expecting snow down to 5,000 ft. on Wednesday. Thursday a break with clear conditions. Then Friday more snow clear through the weekend. But at least it will be SPRING snow!  Regardless, I love cycling using “Olivia”.

UPDATE:  The next day it started to snow again. We have started that roller coaster again!

Spring snow!
